NEAR AYTON, AFTER ITS DESTRUCTION BY FLOODING IN 1948 25 ill not fully understood, it is not possible to indicate the probable range of _on in other types of soil. . It seems likely, however, that a closer spacing of electrodes would be desirable, and advantage may be gained by using cathode wells of larger diameter. . .Any future application of the process should still be regarded largely . aB an experimental procedure, but measurements of the kind outlined in . the Paper should add materially to existing knowledge by yielding results on different types of soil...
