DISCUSSION ON A RECLAMATION NEAR WAINFLEET, 27 LINCOLNSHIRE, Discussion. The Author introduced the Paper with the aid of a series of lanternslides. Mr. J. C.A. Roseveare stated that,in additionto the flood of November 1810, referred to on p. 5, ante, he believed that another flood had occurred 18.20 O.D., and that theheight of 20 in 1820, when the level rose to for the banks in the neighbourhood had been based upon the latter flood. A good deal of discussion bad occurred about the source of the silt which was so useful in the Wash, but the rivers flowing into The Wash could not account `for any considemble proportion of it...
