The California Bearing Ratio test was adopted for a cold-mix asphaltic laterite a hot-mix asphaltic made with an MC-3000cutbackbitumenandtheMarshalltestfor laterite made with a 60/70 penetration grade bitumen. The results indicate that both the cold-mix and the hot-mix asphaltic laterites are adequate base course construction, for with a possible use of the hot-mix for surfacing light-to-medium trafficked roads...
